The Global Warming Question

Yes, I said question, because the simple truth is, it's not a FACT. And, yes, I said "Global Warming", because despite the latest attempts at changing the moniker to "Climate Change", it was "Global Warming" which was the original cry of Armageddon.

You see, when the facts and trends was not proving out their theories, they had to change their game plan. So out they trotted a new slogan, "Climate Change". This slogan covered all their bases. If it was a hotter year than usual or a colder year than usual, they could still point and say, "See, we told you so.".

Please don't be fooled by these people. Most of them have a vested interest in selling the public on this scam called Global Warming or Climate Change or Environmental Awareness or whatever else they have used or will come up with in the future.

The simple fact of the matter is our planet runs in cyclical trends. Most scientists, who are either respectable enough or do not have some sort of vested interest otherwise, will tell you this.

The reason I'm going off on this today is because our tree-hugging former VP Al Gore is heading off to Washington today to try and convince lawmakers the sky is falling. He will try to tell them we are in dire straits and if we don't do something about it this year, we'll all be dead within the decade.

Scare tactics. If you want to rule a people, make them afraid of the consequences of you not being in power. That if not for you, they will lose everything, including life. You are their saviour. Only you can make the changes necessary to bring about their rescue from death and destruction.

It may be more credible if it weren't coming from hypocrites and profit mongers, such as, the Hollywood crew and our, growing ever stranger, former VP. This is a group who would tell you to walk as much as you can, take public transport when possible and, for the love of Mother Nature, never buy an SUV.

Hypocrites, all. Why you ask? Well, because in the meantime they are driving around in the biggest gas guzzlers known to man, using up the most electricity and water at their gigantic mansions and flying around the planet in their Lear jets. But, don't you dare buy that toilet that uses a half a gallon extra a flush than the more "environmentally friendly" one.

What of all the scientists that back it up, you say? Well, like Al Gore, who stands to profit multi-millions off new laws that would be passed, these scientists also stand to profit. Not necessarily in personal gain, but in research funding. That's what it's all about to them. If they can strike enough fear into the public to cause an outcry, then the politicians would be forced to open up the public coffers and fund away.

Please educate yourselves on this subject and don't just believe what you hear on television or in speeches from people who stand to profit. Obama the Fly Killer

I can't believe I'm writing on this subject, but here goes.

If you were anywhere near a television the past few days, you had to have seen the video clip, up above, of President Obama pulling his best Mr. Miyagi impression and killing a suicidal fly. Other than being extremely impressed with the President's lightning fast reflexes, it was no big deal, right? Well...

You see, Mr. Miyagi didn't actually kill the fly, he just caught it between the chopsticks and let it go. President Obama, on the other hand, did what 99.9% of the world's population would have done and summarily gave it an honorable death.

Therein lies the problem. You see, we have this out of control organization, which was originally formed with good intentions, called PETA. Most people know PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. However, after hearing of their statement condemning the President for his failure "...to act wisely and mercifully toward animals.", I believe PETA should stand for Practically Every Thought Assbackwards.

Seriously, can you believe when asked for their official statement on the matter, PETA actually said on their official blog, The PETA Files, "...human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act."? Wow!!! I'm dumbfounded by the insanity of some people in this country.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not for the total eradication of the common housefly. I'm sure they have their purpose on this earth, if not, God would not have put them here. However, a single, clearly aggravating, fly is very insignificant, in the scheme of things, when there are estimations of 10's of quadrillions on the planet. Yep, that's -illions with a Q.

What really peeves me about this story is the hypocrisy. PETA actually puts down thousands of pets every year, in the name of overpopulation. If -illions with a Q isn't overpopulation, I don't know what is. Besides, flies carry over a hundred different diseases, including tuberculosis, anthrax, typhoid, cholera, salmonella, and parasitic worms. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, it's the first thing Obama has done that I approve of.

People, like the Peta folk, are so concerned over 1 housefly out of the -illions with a Q. Yet, couldn't care less about, even, 1 solitary dollar out of the -illions with a T the President wants us to throw away on, the disaster waiting to happen that is, the Health Care Reform Bill.

Worse than this, is the fact that, many of these same people are the ones who argue so vehemently in support of aborting human babies. There are an estimated 1.3 - 1.4 million abortions per year in the United States alone. Have you heard, even, one of these wackos speak up for the right to live these children deserve? Yet, a common housefly deserves more consideration than a human being.

I said it earlier people, assbackwards. There are waaaaay too many people in this country who's thinking is completely discombobulated. Matter of fact, if you flip USA backwards, AS U can clearly see everything is bassackwards.

Hey Big Spender

I really need to preface this post by saying, I really didn't start this blog site with the intention of downing or beating up on our current President. And, I do not intend that to be the focus of future posts, but when there is relevant news that, in my opinion, puts President Obama in a bad light, I also will not shy away from it.

I just wanted to get that out of the way, in case anyone reading might have the false impression, from previous posts, that I'm just here to cast a negative portrayal of the current administration and it's policies. That being said, I would like to get to some huge news that broke this morning.

Anyone who followed last year's elections know that a big focus of the Obama campaign was on Health Care Reform. He made it well known his goal was to make sure every United States citizen had some form of health care coverage. While it's fine and dandy to say such things, you have to consider every aspect of what such a lofty goal would require.

Today's short-sightedness is a bane to our future as a country. And, it is my humble opinion, President Obama has been very short-sighted, indeed. So far, in his very short time in office, Mr. Obama has managed to outspend every single President before him put together.

That's correct, you heard me right. President Obama, in approximately the usual time it takes for most new Presidents to figure out where all the bathrooms in the White House are, has spent more money than every president, from George Washington to George W. Bush, all put together. That seems like an impossibility, but it is indeed the fact.

So, how does one top such a dubious distinction? Well, by spending even more money, of course. Which brings us to the subject of this post. Health Care Reform.

The news broke this morning of how much money it would take to implement President Obama's Health Care Reform Bill. This price tag was issued by a non-partisan committee that was formed to get down to the brass tax of such bills.

Are you ready for this? The price tag to implement Obama's bill is 1 trillion dollars. That's right, trillion with a big gigantic capital T. Do you people realize how much money we're talking about here? $1,000,000,000,000. That's a lot of zeros!!!

That number is so mind boggling, the U.K. and the U.S. cannot even agree on the true nature of how much it actually is. If you don't believe me, go check the dictionary and find out for yourselves. Some describe it as a billion millions, others as a million million millions. Either way, it's a whole hell of a lot of money.

Here's the kicker. That $1,000,000,000,000 we were just discussing will only take care of 1/3 of the American citizens. That's right, you heard me correctly again. That astronomical number will not even do the job. It will take another 2 trillion to cover the rest of the nation.

That's $3,000,000,000,000 to implement Obama's Health Care Reform Bill all together. Call me naive or stupid, but I have to ask one question. Who is going to pay for all this? We certainly can't pay for this today. As previously shown, Obama has already spent more than every other administration before him put together. So where do we get this money?

Unfortunately, if this plan is allowed to pass through Congress, it will be our children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and so on and so on, who would bear this burden. Well, excuse me for not being selfish, but I'm not willing to bankrupt my descendants future just so some people living presently can have Health Care Coverage.

Before anyone reading goes saying "Well that's easy for you to say when you can afford health insurance.", I should tell you I, myself, do not have the privilege of being insured. Nor, does my wife. Self-employed health insurance is just too expensive for me to afford presently, and we seem, according to the government, to make just a bit too much to be covered by Medicaid. Thank God the government does cover our children, though.

The selfish person in me would love to see this bill passed, but the sensible and rational person in me knows it would be a total and complete disaster for this country in every way possible. Not only will it bankrupt future generations of Americans, but it also lends to downgraded quality of health care today. Just ask the people living in the U.K. and Canada and they will recount nightmare story after nightmare story of waiting periods for exams, medicines, tests and the such.

Lower pay and fees for practitioners and health care facilities have been targeted as a means to help pay for this "Reform". Well, just what do you think that is going to do to the health care profession? If the best and the brightest don't see a profitable future in the career of health care, they will move on to more secure and stable careers. This will lead to significant downgrades in quality care. This is a fact not a presumption. All we have to do is look at the precedent set in the U.K. and Canada.

So, I come to the end of this article and you may want to know what you can do about it one way or the other. I would suggest for you to pick up your phone, get out your pen and paper or log on to your government websites and let your Congressmen and Senators know we do not want to sacrifice our children's futures for our comforts today.

Great Retirement Plan

You gotta hand it to these Uighurs (pronounced WEE-gurs), they really know how to set up a life plan. Here is the Uighurs 7 step plan to retiring in style:

1. Rebel against your government.

2. Travel to Afghanistan and Pakistan to train at Al-Queda terrorist camps.

3. Get caught at camps by American soldiers.

4. Get sent off to Guantanamo Bay (huge upgrade over terrorist camp) for 3 squares a day and a secure place to lay your head.

5. Live a worry free 7 years at Gitmo, while waiting for silly Americans to elect a liberal into office.

6. Count on liberal to be, well, LIBERAL and release you and your pals.

7. Have the added bonus of new silly American president releasing you onto a tropical island paradise to live out your life in style.

These new photos were just released by the AP, which show the Uighurs living it up. In my last post I mentioned some of these Uighurs to you, who were being released onto the island of Palau. These guys may have one upped those guys, though.

These guys were released onto the vacation paradise of Bermuda. Gotta love the way the new administration deals with terrorists, don't ya? Great job Mr. Prez. Way to make us look like absolute fools to the rest of the world.

Miranda Rights for Terrorists???

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights?"

Anyone who has ever watched a cop show, or had the misfortune of having them personally read to you, has heard these rights before. Most of us could probably recite them from memory very easily.

These are the Miranda Rights we , as citizens of the United States, have that protect us from self-incrimination. Our 5th amendment rights were fortified with the ruling of the Supreme Court in 1966, which instituted the reading of Miranda Rights to any U.S. citizen taken into custody.

Miranda Rights were nothing new, but were simply a re-statement of our 5th amendment rights.

Now that we have a very condensed history of Miranda Rights out of the way, we come to the reason I'm writing this article.

President Obama has ordered the FBI and the CIA to read any terrorist taken into custody, worldwide, Miranda Rights. What?!?!?!

Let me say that again. Our President has ordered the FBI and the CIA to read captured terrorists Miranda Rights. Even after typing it a 2nd time, I'm still at a loss.

First off, these terrorists are not U.S. citizens. They have no "right" to Miranda Rights under our law. How in the world does the President expect us to ever get any information out of these captured terrorists when first, our soldiers have had the ability to force coercion taken away, with water boarding (not torture) being banned, and now the President wants terrorists explicitly warned not to talk. RIDICULOUS!!!

I'm not quite sure what President Obama is up to when it comes to captured terrorists. First he sends these captured Chinese terrorists, who were being detained in Guantanamo Bay, to live on a beautiful tropical island called Palau, near the Philippines. And now, he's affording terrorists, caught on the field of battle, rights they have no "right" to.

If this wasn't such a sad commentary on the stupidity in Washington, it would be funny.

Hey, I have a solution for our homeless problem in America. Just have all the homeless people make terrorist threats, then they can be detained and sent off to live out their lives on a tropical island.

Please, please. I beg you. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! And smell what BARACK is cooking.

When Are We Going To Learn?

North Korea would use nuclear weapons in a 'merciless offensive'<---------------CLICK HERE

This is what happens when the world sits around twiddling their thumbs, throwing sanction after useless sanction at a probable future nuclear threat. In the above article, North Korea, clearly states it's willingness to launch a nuclear attack.

The big problem I have here is the ineptitude of the rest of the world, including the U.S., which could have, and should, have prevented North Korea from ever gaining nuclear capabilities in the first place.

We don't live in a world, anymore, where you can just stand by and watch the enemy gather their troops on the battlefield and then go out and meet them mano e' mano. We live in a world where, if a country is nuclear armed, all they have to do is simply press a button and whole city populations are disintegrated.

This is the capability we have allowed the unstable North Koreans to acquire and this is the capability we are well on the way to allowing the equally unstable Iranians to acquire. If you do not think this is the case, and that the Iranians want nuclear technology just for energy purposes, I beg you to hearken back to the beginnings of the North Korean nuclear program.

Idle threats and hollow sanctions done absolutely nothing to stop the North Koreans from gaining nuclear weapons and neither will the exact same blueprint for disaster being used with the Iranians.

This all so easily could have been prevented if we had just had the courage and fortitude to deal with it in it's infancy. Now, instead of chastising a child we are dealing with a grown man.

So, when are we going to learn? It seems we haven't yet, because we continue the same erred policies. I hope it is not going to take a finger pressing down on a button, with the same force you would use to press your t.v.'s remote control, to teach us the virtues of preventative maintenance.
